New Plots Flood-Park District Acts Quickly

During the Final week of May Naperville experienced considerable rainfall in a short period of time and June has become one of the wettest on record. The rain caused some standing water to remain in portions of the garden plots and wooded area at the west end of the north plots. In an effort to improve drainage in this area the Naperville Park District has installed a culvert under the north end of the gravel drive between rows L and M, as well as a second culvert under the gravel drive leading to the Sportsman's Park Trapshooting Facility. The installation of the culverts has assisted in moving the water out of and away from the garden plots.
The Park District has apologized for any inconvenience.
